Tapping into teenage comic book fantasies, Morgan Sea assumes the persona of his super-hero alter ego, Citizen Justice. By day the self-proclaimed “low budget Batman/love-child of MacGyver” patrols the streets of the booming metropolis known as Calgary, performing helpful tasks for citizens in distress. By night, Justice returns to his secret headquarters (Stride Gallery’s +15 window space) where he inhabits a small apartment in which audiences can observe documentation of his heroic actions and witness the living space of a real live Super Hero.
When Morgan Sea is not busy thwarting man-made doom and overcoming mass media manipulation, he utilizes the found objects from his curbside dumpster diving exploits to create crafts. Originally from Saskatchewan, he has lived in Calgary and currently resides in Montreal where he is studying at Concordia University.
